Your Participation In Our Work Experience Program Changes Lives!
Through the Work Experience Program, we offer local businesses the ability to make an impact on those in our community who are building a new future for themselves. Worksites are vital to the growth of the future workforce. It provides participants with the opportunity to gain valuable skills. Employers provide mentorship. Both create the foundation that makes a lasting impact!
The Part You'll Play As a Worksite
As a Work Experience Worksite, your business provides the fundamental training and education needed to build the skills required. We have a diverse group of participants that vary in age, background, and prior experiences who are seeking to gain new skills and career-advancing opportunities.
In addition to job training, you will be given the chance to identify and mentor the clients' natural talents and skills individually, as well as support their development.
Worksite representatives are expected to attend a short employer orientation, monitor, and submit weekly time sheets to assigned Case Managers. Worksites are expected to provide job descriptions for participants and provide detailed feedback for participants' performance assessments periodically.
What Does the Work Experience Program Provide?
The Work Experience Program provides the required wages and liability coverage. We maintain payroll responsibilities and monitor the participant through work site visits and ongoing assessments.
In addition, we can provide several types of supportive services to assist participants in overcoming barriers that may arise such as assistance with transportation, purchasing required tools and uniforms, and other necessary requirements.
